Iron Mine Contracting

The new offices needed room for additional growth and the constant influx of contractors coming and going from sites around Australia.  Stiely Design wanted this new space to reflect the company’s personality and celebrate their relationships with Indigenous partners.   The familiar red dirt colour of northern Western Australia formed the inspiration and aesthetic direction. This was paired with charcoal coloured timbers and light joinery elements to create a dramatic but warm working environment.  As many staff were moving into open plan workstations for the first time, quiet rooms were included in the fitout and made available to staff when privacy was a factor.  Automated sit/ stand desks were another feature readily embraced by staff.
