The Institute of Health and Nursing was growing and needed a larger space to train their students. Standard corporate office floors needed to be radically transformed to provide classrooms & realistic medical labs for hundreds of students.
Two floors of a Perth office building were chosen for their new location. The existing floorplates however, were dark and lifeless. Stiely Design decided to integrate the company logo into the design to create a bright and inspirational place to learn. Using a colourful palette of Dutch carpet tiles, the space was transformed. The new carpet tiles not only created a fun environment to learn, but also delineated the different functions of each area. (i.e. Blue for learning, green for administrative areas, yellow for breakout areas and orange for general circulation)
