New Fitout, 248sm Veterinary Hospital
Builder: Perth CitiFitouts
This very busy veterinary practice desperately needed more room to accommodate their growing client base, but wanted to stay within the current area. Two nearby tenancies, a butcher and a hairdresser, were chosen to be combined to house the new hospital.
Although, originally two separate businesses, the combined area still needed to be meticulously planned to take advantage of every centimeter of space.
As with all veterinary fitouts, adjacencies and sight lines were critical to ensure patients could be treated quickly and efficiently, especially in the case of emergencies. Storage was maximised with high level cabinets (in consults) and double sided access (as shown in the surgery pass-thru).
Aesthetically, the client hoped to convey a bright, beachy feeling throughout. We did this with light coloured floors and joinery, sandy timber look laminates and soft ocean blue splashbacks.
With no time to spare, the client moved in with almost no downtime. Photos shown are of the hospital fully operational.
